Médoc Self Drive Tour
Drive your own car, set off to explore the Médoc vineyard ! At your own pace, you will follow the mythical « route des châteaux » and cross the prestigious appellations that make the reputation of the great wines of Bordeaux: Margaux, Saint-Julien, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe…
During this day, you will visit and taste the wines of three magnificent properties located in the Médoc selected by the Bordeaux So You team.
Example of itinerary
11am
Visit a top winery a family estate classified Cru Bourgeois in the Margaux appellation and taste the wines of the winery.
12.30pm
Free time for lunch.
2.30pm
Visit a top winery classified Grand Cru Classé in the Saint-Julien appellation and taste the wines of the estate.
4pm
Visit a top winery classified Grand Cru Classé in the Saint-Estèphe appellation and taste the wines of the estate.
During each winery visit, which lasts 1h15, you will discover the history of the estate, its technical facilities and you will learn about the various stages of the winemaking process from the vine to the bottle. At the end of the visit, a tasting of the wines from the winery will be offered.
An explanatory roadbook on the vineyard of Bordeaux will be sent to you by email 24 hours before your tour.
